Lola’s Legacy Animal Foundation, Inc. is a New York not-for-profit corporation and a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Foundation was born in memory of my beautiful soul dog and Weimaraner, Lola. Through Lola’s Legacy, our mission is to provide Love Optimism Lifelines (and) Advocacy - a tribute to the name that guides us, for animals in need & their human companions.
Based in Suffolk County, on Long Island, in New York, Lola’s Legacy is dedicated to being a strong, impactful voice for animals who cannot speak for themselves.
The colors that represent Lola’s Legacy are purple and green. Purple is symbolic of Royalty, (which is what Weimaraners were bred for in Germany) magic, spirituality, creativity and ambition. Everything I want Lola’s Legacy to represent.
And green is symbolic for life, growth, renewal and health. It’s the green light for me to GO and make it all happen. These 2 colors were specifically chosen, because both purple and green are colors in the Rainbow Bridge, where Lola is, watching and guiding me in this mission.
